Church School Presenter Biographies

May 3: The Reverend Darien Jones is currently a graduating senior Master of Divinity student at Yale University. Darien earned a B.A. in English from Morehouse College. He is an ordained Itinerant Deacon in the Seventh Episcopal District.

May 10: The Reverend Carlene Sobers has served as the YPD President, Sunday School Superintendent, Youth Pastor, and Intercessory Prayer and Visitation Coordinator. This eventually led her into Ministry as an Itinerant Elder where she served as pastor of Emmanuel AME and Sealy Memorial AME Church in Barbados. She is currently the first female Presiding Elder of the Barbados District.

May 17: The Reverend Dr. Susan Buckson, an award-winning career educator, serves as pastor of Allen Temple AME Church, Atlanta, Georgia.  She holds the Doctor of Ministry degree from Payne Theological Seminary.

May 24: The Reverend Corwin Malcolm Davis is the pastor of Jones Chapel AME Church, Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee. He earned a Master of Divinity degree from Vanderbilt University Divinity School and a B.A. in Religion from Belmont University.

May 31: The Reverend Brenton Miles Brock is currently a Ph.D. student at Howard University. He earned an M.Div. from Princeton Theological Seminary and a B.A. in Theology and Religion from Stillman College. He is an ordained Itinerant Deacon from the Southwest Conference of the Ninth Episcopal District.
