About

The Bereavement Ministry is designed to offer support once the funeral or memorial service has been planned, by offering a resolution; or a plant; or food for the repast. Additionally, the Bereavement Ministry helps coordinate and plan funerals/memorial services at UB. The ministry locates resources that are needed to plan a service, such as: funeral homes, obituary writing, florist, catering, et cetera. The ministry also assists with secures facility, as well as any UB ministry that is needed for the services. Select resources and amenities are for active UB members only.


Mission

Our mission in the Bereavement Ministry is to ensure that the surviving family members feel the love and support of their church family during their time of losing a love one.


Vision

The vision of our team is to provide companion, prayer, and friendship to those grieving, even months after the loss of a love one.
