William M. Campbell, Jr.

Reverend Dr. William Campbell, Jr. (Pastor C) serves as the senior pastor of Union Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Brandywine & Temple Hills, Maryland. He is the founder of a global outreach ministry, Flaming Fire Ministries. He is the author of three books, three teaching manuals and a sermon contributor in the Athens & Oxford Sermons compiled by Dr. Joel C. Gregory.

Pastor C brings a unique and diverse amount of experiences to the ministry. Keeping teaching as a focal point in the ministry and the church’s bible – Walking in the Word – he has experienced record attendance both in-person and live streaming. Pastor C has led numerous mission trips regionally and globally to places such as New Orleans, Louisiana, and countries such as Jamaica, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Zambia and Kenya. In Nakuru, Kenya, he helped to plant the first A.M.E. Church, Bethel – which has now spawned into fifteen churches in that country.

He attended Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia and holds an Associate of Arts degree from Manatee Community College in Bradenton, Florida; a Master of Divinity degree from the George W. Truett Theological Seminary of Baylor University in Waco, Texas; and a Doctor of Ministry degree from the Drew Theological School of Drew University in Madison, New Jersey. His doctoral thesis - Re-Envisioning the Mission and Vision of Anderson Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church - canonizes the local, regional, national and global missional nature of this church. He also completed continuing education in Homiletics at Regents Park College of The University Oxford in Oxford, England.
